Come learn the basics of seasonal flower arranging using 100% locally grown flowers. In this class we will talk about proper care and conditioning of flowers, what flowers are available each month, and how to create a simple but elegant vase arrangement. This is a hands on workshop and each participant will come home with a beautiful seasonal arrangement.

Learn to create a stunning wrapped bouquet using 100% locally grown seasonal flowers. In this class flower farmer, Julie Hall, will walk you through the proper care and conditioning of flowers, highlight her favorite seasonal blooms and cover the essential elements of creating a stunning wrapped bouquet.
This is a hands-on workshop and each participant will have time to create their own bouquet using freshly cut flowers from Julie's farm and other local flower farms. All supplies needed to create the bouquet are included.
Beginners are absolutely welcome!

If you want a beautiful spring flower garden, start in the fall!
Many cut flowers benefit from overwintering and a slow growing season in cool weather. Come learn how and when to plant, what varieties can handle a fall planting, and how to protect your plants through the winter so you can enjoy an abundance of blooms in the spring.
Local flower farmer Julie Hall will share tips and tricks for successfully growing flowers like ranunculus, anemones, tulips, daffodils, and peonies as well how to protect cold hardy annuals in Utah's unpredictable winters!
Julie will provide a helpful handout with her favorite flower varieties & she will have assorted fall bulbs and corms available for purchase at The Workshop.
